Just wanted to say, ” Hey ya’ll!!!!!” I started listening to podcasts, well, only Meagan’s, about a year ago. I was relieved with the how-to-listen instructions for subscribing, etc.
The write-at -home sessions are particularly intriguing for me right now, I have a 15 month old and 5-year old, and I work part time outside my home about two days a week. I’m a nurse, but I do lots of things….. I teach part time with a university, I work in the NICU every few weeks, I review nursing textbooks, and I am starting to get into writing professional articles. My big hold-back has been that I can’t find chunks of time to write without being interrupted because Netflix wigged out and the 5 year old is losing her mind, or the baby needs another snack or a diaper. (Not that I begrudge the kids food or toilet…. I know you guys get where I’m coming form here.) My small desk is shared with the kids playroom, too. So, I’m just struggling with trying to find a way to make it work. This is also my reservation with beginning my PhD. If I can’t find a consistent way to produce smaller manuscripts how will I ever make it though that program?????
I look forward to listening to your ideas and what I can apply to my situation.
I enjoyed the first style hour last week. I love so many of the ideas and opinions, except the jumpsuits/romper a. Sorry, I just can’t get on board with that. But, like one of you said, most of us have a clear opinion on some fashion statements, and that’s just our personal style,
Thanks for all your hardwork on everything. I love your work.

I have a quesiton I’d love to send in for the Style Hour podcast, but I am not finding the email address to send it to…can you help me out? Thanks!!!
Hi there, I am really enjoying your podcasts for The Mom Hour. I’m a mother of 3 (twins + 1). Keep them up!
Tara, thank you so much!
Hi Meagan and Shana, your show has forced me to address a part of life that I have neglected for the better part of 4 years; i.e., from early in the pregnancy with my son. Now, a toddler and infant in arm, I’m starting to think that maybe my “functional uniform” could use some sprucing up. This has already yielded 3 monumentally big steps: (1) a wardrobe update shopping evening with my style-gifted sister in law, (2) actually pulling out a great pair of white jeans and jersey/lace tank for a rare date night – felt great, and (3) forcing my husband to try on allllll his jeans and threw out half that were either too big (think pre-photo on weight loss commercial) or too small. Now my big question is how to best care for nice items? It may be too mundane for your show but I would really like to know how best to bleach whites, how to stop men’s polo collars from furling into sad little rolls, and how to stop a full-ish closet from smelling stuffy. Also, what are good options for capitalizing on cute features without much maintenance (referring again to having two under-4’s at home…) Thanks, Ingrid
Hello Meaghan and Sarah!
My name is Amy Meara and I’m a mom of two boys, 9 and 11. I live in Shawnee, KS, a suburb in the Kansas City metro area.
I just wanted to post something…finally…about how much I love your show. I’ve been listening since episode one. I have a 50 minute commute everyday (each way) and the days you have a new podcast posted are my favorites.
The chemistry the two of you have is fantastic. I feel like I’m having coffee with two girlfriends…sometimes I begin talking to myself and “join the conversation” as I drive!
Thanks for sharing your viewpoints and making me feel normal as we all carry on as moms.
Keep up the great work!
Oh, thanks so much, Amy! This made our day. So glad we can “join” you for your commute!
Amy, this TOTALLY made my day (I read it while out of town so am just able to respond now!) I’m so glad you’re liking the show!
