I am so excited about this week’s podcast, my first with two guests at the same time (ooh, dangerous!) spoke with Asha Dornfest and Christine Koh, authors of the fantastic new book (affiliate link): Minimalist Parenting: Enjoy Modern Family Life More by Doing Less.
I’ve had the pleasure of getting to know Asha and Christine pretty well over the last few years, and I can report that they are just as genuine, funny, warm, and smart as they sound in this recording!
We had so much fun discussing modern parenting, less-stressful dinners, defining your values and priorities, moving past feeling overwhelmed and how to carve out space for family time.

Hi – I’m new to your site and recently started going thru the Podcast and listened to this one. I’m and engaged dad of a 6 year old son and enjoyed the conversation and believe in the minimalists concept. My wife and I are very intentional about the activities we present to him. We like to let him make choices and have a say in what activities he participates in, but we also want to help set him, and our family unit, up for success. I think the really important point that was discussed here is simply to make the choice of lifestyle & pace, be intentional about whatever choices you make and don’t just let it all take you over and seem out of control. Thanks again and keep up the great work!
