Happy holidays, all!
I’m not sure how it’s possible that we are just two weeks from Christmas! Sarah and I have been working hard on our holiday giveaways this week – not to mention festivities in our own homes – so we thought it would be a good opportunity to round up some previous holiday podcast episodes.
Note: if you’re new to The Home Hour you may not know that the show used to be called The Kitchen Hour, up until last winter. So don’t be confused when you click over!
Episode 14: Creating holiday traditions – without the stress. Last Christmas Sarah and I discussed the pressure moms can put themselves under to make the holidays “magical.” Is it necessary, or do holiday traditions evolve on their own without so much work from us?
Episode 9: Saving money during the holidays with Amy Allen Clark of MomAdvice.com. Amy and I discuss services and strategies that will help you shop, cook and host without blowing your budget.
Episode 7: Simplifying the holidays with Tsh Oxenreider of TheArtOfSimple.net. Tsh and I discussed holiday giving with small kids, creating a culture of contentment in your home, and choosing the traditions that matter to you.
Episode 16: Blogging, writing, and life with Rebecca Woolf of Girl’s Gone Child. While not technically a holiday-themed episode, Rebecca and I recorded this in December of last year and ended up talking about Elf on the Shelf, mixed-religion holiday celebrating, and more.
And don’t forget that I very recently discussed creating a calmer holiday with Doña Baumgarner, and dressing for holiday events with Shana Draugelis!
I’ll be back next week with a new episode of The Home Hour. Why not take this opportunity to get caught up?
